old skool game boy

i have like one of the first game boys and i cant get the now games to work on it :evil:
does anyone know how i can get the to work, or is it a lost caurse :mrgreen:

With the origional gameboys(I believe they require 4 AA batteries), they were designed to play 2x2.5 inch carts with a nook in the corner.
Most carts released now are 2x1 inch designed to be used with a Gameboy Advanced.
You can either buy the older carts used or just get a GBA and play anything.
